Re: Podcast/Spin Interview Discussion (Trunk&co on Ax) *possible spoilers*
For the record I wasn't complaining...I'm very happy with the current tour and all the positive goings on with the band.
I just found it kind of interesting in the context of all the histroy of the band that we've been told Axl's managment at times feels it's safer to trick/surprise him with arrangements.
But I'm not suggesting things arn't going well.

I am pretty sick of hearing about start times and setlists and managers and handlers and housekeepers. Let it go. They are out kicking ass around the world for the last two years, and it sounds like they are semi-interested in releasing some new music fairly soon. What more do you want? There is NO reunion in the near future so this is what we got, and it is pretty good right now.
I don't believe anyone in this thread has said they aren't out kicking ass at the moment based on the last couple of US shows. Also I don't believe anyone in here has called for a reunion either.
Some people like to discuss different aspects of this band in an appropriate thread. AND just because they do it doesn't mean they aren't positive about how good the last few shows have been, or how positive things may be looking going forward compared to other times.

I have to say, the whole band seems more positive and "into it" now than I've ever noticed before.
I completely and totally agree. I noticed that in Orlando. In 2006 the band seemed to be glad to be out, but there was a certain "we're here for a job" sort of vibe.
Now it's a totally different vibe. ALL OF THEM are LOVING being alive right now and in Guns N' Roses, and the most thrilling thing of all -- so is Axl. Which is a BEAUTIFUL thing.
I have never seen Axl in as good of spirits, telling stories, busting balls on the band, joking around, smiling and shaking hands with fans, happy to be GNR's frontman since the UYI days (non-pissed off days).
That is the BEST sign i've seen since 1993. This is a GOOD thing.

Interesting stuff, but not earth-shattering yet. Pretty cool where gonna get some live clips from the Miami show. I'm hoping VH1 recorded the WHOLE Miami show in pro-shot format.
Special Thanks to Cramer for initially posting that YouTube video here at Evo.
