Yeah it's my fault that you insulted me from the on-set, then i'm the problem when I drop a 'retard' line, which is warranted, and suddenly it's my fault for starting it up again.

there has been alot of shit slinging since gnr hit the road again...god knows why
"Retard" is totally uncalled for and ast the same time maybe the wording on johns orig question put a bit of (unintentional?) anti-american slant on on it. prolly coulda had a bit more tact in the wording of the post...
but i dont think his question was out of line...at rio Axlin was leading hte charge that GnR was over and Axl was suicidal...then after the show he attended then they are on top of the world again...what gives?

First of all, I DID NOT call him a "Retard". I said his stuff was "Retarded". John is an incredibly smart guy and i've been reading and talking back with his stuff in the Video game thread, so obviously there is no issue.
But his statement was retarded. We're all here because we have a passion for this music. So because I expressed that in 2011, that passion can be refound, i'm emotional. I'm not fuckin' dealin' with that word. It's just not gonna happen.
As for my statements on Rio vs. today... so are you one of those guys that thinks "once a political party", you've gotta stay a political party?
So i'm required by you, or anyone else to stay negative? I'm not allowed to have an open mind and change my mind or have a different opinion today versus tomorrow.

I agree with Axlin here cause I am the exact same way.
I judge GNR on a case by case basis. I can say RIR was the shittiest thing I've ever seen but then be man enough to turn around and give them props when the next show is amazing. I could be a negative fan and still nitpick small things to make GNR appear to always be shitty, but I always look for the positive in this band.
Sadly, RIR had very few positive moments but by GOD if u read that thread, we all gave HUGE props from TIL to Estranged up to they started the terrible YCBM and it snowballed once again from there.
If the tour had continued like the RIR gig, Yes this band would've been finished. luckily, somehow they pulled their shit together and made it through.
Did we over react maybe a tad after RIR?? yes and No. Yes because it was the first show in the pouring rain... but No cause nothing in that performance led me to believe they could bounce back the way they have.
I don't condone insults of any kind on these forums. Absolutely no place for them whatsoever.
