but....he isn't getting the crowds he should due to no Slash. It really has nothing to do with Duff and Izzy. People now just relate to Axl/Slash. I got that all day yesterday,,,"Hey, is Slash playing?".

Let me tell you something, if Slash was there, they would have had to play the Georgia Dome, cause Phillips Arena wouldn't have held that shit....  I am telling you, Slash and Axl are sounding the best right now they will ever sound for the rest of their lives....

agreed. can you imagine how many money hungry people in the music business who must be desperately working on how they could get the old crew together?

Looks to me like Axl's making up for his lack of promo on the CD launch with a positive effort during this tour - maybe it's part of the tour deal they settled on? But it's noticable that the whole GNR machine seems to be making an effort to do things properly this time - things like the releasing the live videos to facebook/utube after a show...

Did the successful MOtley/Poison tour have anything to do to help this tour do better? like someone was saying, the Nostalgia being back in full force.

Nah, those guys always make a ton of money when they tour. Their tours have been successful for the last decade.

Robin's image in 2006 was pretty rock n' roll.

He has a uniqueness and doesn't look like a poser like DJ Ashba.

The guy also is all over Chinese Democracy as well.

I think it is a laughing stock that no Chinese Democracy guitarists are with the band and that Brain is gone.

Wish the tour all the best though, just not my cup of tea.

If you can't keep one of your Chinese Democracy guitarists in the band it is a reflection of oneself and not the guitarists.
