Duff needs to be on bass IMO....something about the chemestry of him on bass and slash on guitar kicksass.....although in a mixed reunion idea like you propose that is kinda a shame for tommy....but i think you need Slash/Duff/Axl to really nail the sound...you can get away with different drummers and rhythm...

In the thread rust, just locked, there's a really cool podcast. The band members supposedly think Axl is cool. The interview guy kind of blames those close to Axl, supposedly they don't tell him stuff to last min. btw.. Seems like Axl, may or not go RHF. The Slash stuff is intersting too.
VH1 Producer thinks Axl is trying to repair image, say's Axl is not fat.

Axl also said that he knows it isn't GNR and it's his band, but say's good things about the band.
Also says sorry for being late, but he can't help it. Is problem he's always had.

Oh shit, the RNRHOF is setting up to be total chaos! I can't wait, I think they gonna play, Axl's tone on the hof has really changed since before!

I got that vibe too from it, that Axl might show up. Maybe that guy played it up though. Will see when see when it actually airs.

All I got was that Axl's management sucks. Really, really sucks. He's going to be late, nothing is going to change that, which is the main thing anyone cared about on that show. He considers GN'R to be him, not the other (current) members, basically a NIN thing, but he does love his band. Axl's a cool guy and not fat.
I really want to see the show now. It airs next Friday.

There weren't any spoilers here really, because Jim and the DJ's were very cautious not to spill anything for the show. They were really talking around the interview about what happened to the lead up, that's not going to be on the show.
They need a new manager, though. Badly. That's what I took away from the segment. This isn't a spoiler, but Axl didn't know about the interview until a few hours after the Miami show. He found out from Bumblefoot when one of the TMS guys texted him and he just happened to be hanging with Axl. The TMS crew had been waiting over 12 hours for Axl and the management were telling them that Axl knew and had okayed the interview, basically lying through their teeth.
