When Roger played my town he came into my aunts hair dresser saloon and asked if he could borrow a shower!
But he's still drawing huge crowds so I really don't know what that was about. Not like he can't be accommodated. Maybe he was just fucking around. It was a really weird experience, having Waters walk around in your saloon in an apron then he goes off to perform to 20.000 people.

Right, I assume Roger Waters "can't get" a weekend show either??
I read that the idea this time around is to hit certain markets through the week with the smaller show then knockout a whole region with the giant version of the show on the weekend.
That's why we've got 2 small dates in Detroit followed by the huge Wrigley show on Friday night.
In any case, I can't tell you guys enough: Do not miss this show. Even if you only like a little bit of Floyd, the experience itself is unlike anything you've ever seen.
I had a friend who saw the original Pink Floyd during that period, and actually put Waters' Wall experience right up there. I think she and her husband saw the Tampa show on the last tour.
