What, you think Vince and Bob showed up and Axl did not? It was a bunch of bullshit from both parties. You'll only need to check out the pictures to see who was the big mouthed child in the Hilfiger incident. Standing there doing karate poses? That sound like a guy that knows anything about fighting?

You've seen the dude at St. Louis. He just doesn't care. How many rockers you know of could do something like that?

Phil Anselmo would probably kill Axl.

If Slash were pushed to fight he would, though usually passive, I don't think he would be a pussy either.  I can tell by how he plays guitar that he wouldn't be a pussy.

I see Axl's anger as deep and unpredictable.

So i see Bono's point that he's not inherently tough but I think he'd get an edge through shear motabolisation of hatred and adrenaline, temporary abandonment of rational thought and ability to push something to extremes...even if it hurts his own interests.

I see Axl as someone who in the wrong mood would take on a fight he can't win - against more people than he could handle, bigger people, or using force that's disproportionate to the relative incident.

So far from being a pussy I see him as a guy you don't want to fight. Cos even amongst big dudes there's usually some common sense about a punch up. But in Axl's case...pushing him into a confrontartion is like tapping into some kind of darker unchecked source of evilness or soemthing...proabably both he and you would get unnecessarly fucked up.

Phil Anselmo would kill everyone, except Lemmy.

In my experience and from guys I know that have worked in security, they often would prefer to have to take on the big loud mouth guy, the tough looking guy with all the tatts and the attitude compared to the quiet non-descript person in the corner minding their own business.

Usually the ones that try and look/dress/act tough are the biggest soft cocks of all when push comes to shove.  They try and intimidate people by their look and demenaour probably because of some fucken inscurities that they have.

But the quiet guy, the one that hasn't shown his hand is the one you need to watch.  They are often the ones that truly have the confidence in themselves.

That said once your fighting you need to be totally comitted and almost primal.  The less skilled fighter but with a determined attidude that doesn't care about the consequences can be much more dangerous than a more skilled guy that is worried about getting hit, or whatever else.

Yeah, but all those guys are hitmen or FBI 16

After skill and size is taken into account determination and will still accounts for a whole lot. A crazy enough guy can stab you if he knows he doesn't stand a chance against you physically. If you got that kind of image I'd say a lot of fights are over even before they begin. At least that's what Sun Tzu says.

Axl probably got kicked around a bit when he was younger (I think so?), and after got famous it's a bit hard to get into a fair fight with all the cameras and body guards, so I'd see he isn't proven. Unless he cracked somebody in 85 or something that we know about. But I know where I'd put my money if he goes up against anyone else in the band.

I can personally attest to this, as I am the quiet guy in the corner...
