Re: 2011-12 Guns n Roses Tour
I think they're over booking again like in 2006. Not to be a dick, but I think some of those get cancelled.
America is interested, but not THAT interested. Not without a new single or album to promote.
remember guys...this tour is on azoff.
remember the settlement?

Re: 2011-12 Guns n Roses Tour
They better be glad it's on Azoff, otherwise it'd be another 2002 implosion in the making.
This is what happens when you tour Chinese Democracy/AFD revue for the 3rd time in the U.S. in 10 years.
As I said in another thread...
"Play your own shit"
They desperately NEED SOME-THING to PRO-MOTE.

Axl Rose has just over a week to prepare before Guns N' Roses launches its first U.S. tour in five years. But even as the start-date nears for the 2011 Chinese Democracy Tour's national leg, new concert dates are being revealed.
Now standing at 23 dates, the itinerary grows increasingly closer to its promised duration of 30-plus dates. The venture now has events booked through December 8, when GNR will take the stage at the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, IN.
Since TicketNews' last GNR update in late September, six new concerts have been confirmed. Those recent reveals include a November 23 show in Albany, NY, and a December 4 stop in Nashville, TN.
The next GNR ticket onsale is for the present itinerary's Indianapolis end-date. Tickets will go on sale to the public this Saturday, October 22, with prices ranging from $35 to $70.
A slew of the tour dates have already gone on sale to the public over the course of September and early October. Though most markets have a $30 to $40 spread between high and low ticket prices, tour-wide face values range from $25 up to $95, according to Ticketmaster.com listings.
GNR's camp revealed the first 2011 U.S. tour dates in early September. Within a couple of weeks, additional show confirmations trickled out — along with the news that the band ultimately planned to play across the states through year's end.
Rose and crew are currently wrapping an October tour of South America and Mexico. GNR will perform two weekend shows in Mexico (Oct. 22 in Guadalajara and Oct. 23 in Monterrey) before moving north of the border for the start of its U.S. tour.
