am i the only one seeing this as kind of a double-edged sword? i mean he`s talking about slash pissing his pants on a regular basis and him fucking the girls that slash brought. this is not exactely the kind of "nostalgic story" i would want to have told about me by a former friend...

I would be so brave to bet that if, god forbid, Slash was on death's door, Axl would be there in a heartbeat. Axl says he hates the guy yadda yadda, but I think if it came down to it, he would be there for the guy..

I think we should be careful not to read too much into this though.
It's one story told for comedic value about his youth.
Look at how happy he is in this video, compared to the pure rage he seemed to be showing exiting the car at the airport just days ago. There's a full spectrum of emotions in Axl's life it would appear. Wouldn't surprise me if at times he looked back fondly on Slash but at other times held a serious amount of anger towards him.
Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to hear them not trash talking each other, but I also think the one video isn't really enough to know what he really feels.

This video has now also been picked up by Ultimate Classic Rock on facebook....

Seems like a bit of positive publicity for Axl - like a video showing him chatting and hanging with fans is a good thing.
