Re: Britney Spears taken from home in ambulance
LOS ANGELES - Britney Spears was taken from her house by ambulance early Thursday, police told The Associated Press.
A Los Angeles police officer, who requested anonymity because he was not authorized to speak on the matter, said the 26-year-old pop star was being taken to "get help" but did not give the ambulance's desination.
On Jan. 3, police were called to her Studio City home when she refused to return her two young sons, Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, to ex-husband Kevin Federline, who has custody.
Officers had paramedics haul Spears to a hospital for undisclosed reasons. She was released after a day and a half in Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Police also went to the home Monday night after someone reported a swarm of paparazzi trespassing in the singer's gated community. When officers arrived, they didn't see anyone trespassing, police said, but citations were issued for several illegally parked cars.
Spears has been in a highly public downward spiral since filing for divorce from Federline in November 2006.
Her bizarre antics include shaving her head bald, attacking a car with an umbrella and bringing along a paparazzo pal on trips to a courthouse in her child custody case.

Re: Britney Spears taken from home in ambulance
Here is what TMZ reported.
TMZ has broken story after story in the middle of the night, detailing the second commitment of Britney Spears that occurred in the last few hours. For all of you who have just logged on, here's a summary:
Last night, Britney's new psychiatrist went to her home and felt she was a danger to herself and others -- partly because of her reckless driving and partly because of her "downhill behavior." As a result, the shrink launched a plan (days in the making) to have Britney committed to UCLA Medical Center by calling the cops.
Sources tell us the cops knew it was coming. In fact, the plan was for cops and paramedics to take Britney away the night before, but it was scrubbed. Last night, it all went down according to plan. Cops even used code to minimize craziness in transporting Britney to the hospital. Over the police radio, she was referred to as "The Package."
Here is the next report
Sources inside UCLA Medical Center tell TMZ Britney checked into the facility using an alias. We will not divulge the name, but what happened inside is bizarre.
Our sources say Britney said she was on Adderall, a stimulant used to treat Attention Deficit Disorder, and was taking up to ten laxatives a day. Side note -- cameras caught Spears a few days ago picking up a bagful of laxatives.
We're also told, when she was admitted, Britney accused her mom of "sleeping with my boyfriend." She wasn't specific on who she was referring to.
We're also told that for a time she was hurling profanities at her parents and staff.

Now she is accusing her mother of sleeping with her boyfriend now, I am sure that is the sickness talking.
I have seen videos on TMZ of her talking in her British accent and it's really bizarre.
There is a pic of her coming out of the drug store with a massive box of laxatives which if you have ever seen a doc on the twins, they would do that.

Me too as much as I agree with the decision of the court to keep her kids away from her, you can she her unraveling rapidly, she definitely has been a nutcase for a long, long time. If she doesn't leave and accepts this help, hopefully she can get back on track. If she refuses yet again for serious treatment, then she is going to continue on this path and it sure ain't pretty. IF the parents took control over her medically then she will be forced to stay in there.

Re: Britney Spears taken from home in ambulance
Sources at UCLA Medical Center tell TMZ Britney Spears has been classified as "G.D." - Greatly Disabled. That is a huge and dangerous deal. That means the patient is unable to take care of basic needs, such as the acquisition of food, clothing or shelter. Being G.D. is one of the criteria for involuntary commitment.
Several health care professionals tell us Britney has fallen into a "manic state" due to her bipolar disorder. We're also told, she arrived at the hospital this morning at around 2:15 AM but wasn't admitted until 4:15 AM, because she was causing such a scene in the hospital.
We first reported that Britney accused her mother of sleeping with her boyfriend. Now we have more. We're told Britney screamed, "the only reason she's admitting me is because she wants to be alone with her boyfriend! She wants to sleep with my boyfriend!!" Britney never said exactly who she was talking about.
When Brit calmed down, she talked about her kids, how much she misses them and how it's unfair that she doesn't have them.

Wow, I sure hope they can help her because she really, really, really needs it.
Re: Britney Spears taken from home in ambulance
I've been saying for a couple years now that she burnt her brain out on meth. As the story unfolds people can now see that.
That means the patient is unable to take care of basic needs, such as the acquisition of food, clothing or shelter.
Thats because she has no brain left. The only reason this chick isn't sucking dick in an alley for a quarter of meth is because she got rich and famous before she became an addict.
She'll always be like this. Once you get so far gone on that drug, there's no going back. The effects are permanent. All she can hope for at this point is not going broke.
