Damn, the band sounds so tight, especially Sorum, Duff, and Slash. Great drumming. Axl sounded so bad ass on "I don't care about you" and "hair of the dog", oh, and "down on the farm" too.

Give it a listen and crank it up. I liked raw power too. Slash's tone is great on "ain't it fun".

It's definitely underrated, and quite possibly the best "bargain bin" album anyone will ever buy. It's been on the $5-7 rack at the gas station for years. Human Being and Black Leather have always been my favorite trx. I liked EVERY track on it, like most GN'R albums, except a couple, those being Raw Power and Buick Makane (liked Big Dumb Sex tho).
Based on a track-by-track head-to-head basis...
I'd take...
New Rose over Shackler's Revenge
Hair of the Dog over Scraped
Attitude over Riad N' The Bedouins
You Can't Put Your Arms Around A Memory over I.R.S.
But I do feel that Tommy Stinson's cover of YCPYAAAM is better than Duff's.
