Pretty clear what they are doing here. These fuckheads picketed outside the Foos show so they simply went and played a song that spit in the face of their asinine protest and rallied people against the WBC. Protest vs protest is all. Not rocket science guys.
these bastards used the Foo Fighters forum to promote their bullshit to a large group of people so the Foo Fighters simply retaliated. yeah yeah better of ignored but c'mon if some asshole is doing this in front of you what are you gonna do? Foo Fighters simply stated their opinion in a fun way. What's hilarious is the lady at the end who was picketing says she liked that song haha! Fucking clowns don't even know what their picketing. Shows the perception that throwing some cowboy twang, some hats n' boots on the whole thing, and suddenly those bigots think "Foos speak the truth". I guess in the same way "One In A Million" appealed to skinheads, for all the wrong reasons, who didn't actually LISTEN to the song, and hear that Axl points the finger at them later.
Sometimes the whole thing bothers me is all. Some cowboys are outlaws. Real ones. Not all of us are racist, prejudiced, Republican-cock sucking, bible thumping idiots.

^ Yeah, the Foos completely took the piss out of themselves, something they always do, by dressing up as a bunch of hillbilly rednecks who get down and dirty for some gay time at a truck stop. They used this video as promo for their upcoming tour, and it's hilarious!
And seeing as the WBC took offense to that video, they retaliated by playing the same song back to them in that video originally posted.
I don't know why people are getting the shits with the Foos, I think it's brilliant. The WBC are a bunch of brainwashed fools, their views of what "god hates" is a fucking joke!

And you saw all the people cheering the Foo Fighters on and ignoring the WBC. That's how it should be. If you pull the attention away from them and refuse to buy into their bullshit or try to get them banned, they lose power. They make money on people hindering their free speech.

They decided to protest at my college last year. Of course, the LGBTQ community got all up in arms. So did the ROTC members. As well as a lot of other people. They organized a counter protest across the street from them.
What did I do? I made the active and conscience choice to not go near them and ignore them all together. I fought them by doing absolute unengagement.
