Re: Distance you'd travel to see a GN'R reunion?
Just for fun, after seeing the all the talk recently about how far folk in the US would travel to see GNR in 2011, I was wondering just how far folk would travel to see a one off reunion tour? Be honest.
Personally if my only option was travelling half way around the world, I'd be selling everything I dont need and begging for any financial I needed help to fund it.
Re: Distance you'd travel to see a GN'R reunion?
Kind of a tough poll, since being on the east coast, we're talking 3000+ miles in "my own country". In my heart, I'd love to say I'd do that, but being cash-strapped and having kids and a wife to report to, I'd probably be stretching it thin at much more than 600 miles. But I'd do it.
Re: Distance you'd travel to see a GN'R reunion?
I would "consider" traveling to far distances in my own country. I still probably wouldn't cross country lines, unless there was a "vacation" element involved.
In other words, if a GN'R reunion was in Vegas, i'd bust my ass to find a way to go.
Re: Distance you'd travel to see a GN'R reunion?
having said I dont' really care about a reunion in another thread yesterday i woudl tarvel to see it though. I'd go to New York for sure cause I love it there and I'd make it a vacation. Possibly Vegas as I've never been there. Not sure I'd travel in my own country to see them. Not sure what the appeal of seeing a reunion in Montreal or Toronto would be. I wouldn't go to Vancouver again for a Gn'R concert but if it came to Calgary or Edmonton I'd make the hour drive.
Re: Distance you'd travel to see a GN'R reunion?
Depends.
If it's a Live8-Pink Floyd style reunion where they all give a shit about the music and performance: ANYWHERE.
If it's a Van Halen/Hager type reunion where they're in it for the money, barely looking at each other and half assing the songs: maybe to The Palace (20 minutes away) maybe.
Yeah right. You love Axl too much man.
If a GN'R reunion was on the fuckin' moon, you'd be talkin' about hitching a ride with Branson to go up there in see it.
You love Guns N' Roses, anyform too much for me to believe that.
