In other random Soundgarden news bassist Ben Shepherd has completed his solo album with the help of Adam Kasper. Shepherd is still trying to figure out how he is going to release it.

How is he going to release it? Go ask Trent Reznor.

Just unload the damn thing free. His solo albums never get any attention even when they're good and if he couldn't get any attention with Hater between Badmotorfinger and Superunknown or Wellwater Conspiracy right after Soundgarden broke up, it's not gonna happen now either.
If not free, just throw it up on Itunes. It's only gonna sell a few thousand and maybe not even that.
Either way, I'm looking forward to it. He's wasted his talents twiddling his thumbs for far too long.

I finally got the infamous 2nd Hater album. Gonna dive into this tonight. This was recorded right after Superunknown yet was shelved for a decade with him adding a few "finishing touches" before its release in 2005. This was his Chinese Democracy but no one really cared. Hater flew a light year under the radar.
That first Hater album has a few killer tracks and while my expectations for this one aren't high, I hope it's got a few gems.
