I preferred the live version from a few years ago over this. However, this is a song no one but M.I.A. should sing. Even Rihanna has covered this....

I loved this song when Kala was first released but when the song got massive and even 90 year old grannies were digging the song, it lost its appeal. I would start skipping it when listening to the album. My interest in the song was renewed when she did that killer version for Slumdog Millionare....
The site did have quite a few M.I.A. fans when Kala first got big. Me mentioning her every five seconds before she got huge probably played a role in that. 
She lost a LOT of fans in the aftermath of getting huge and that 3rd album not blowing people away contributed to the loss of fans. I'm not just talking about this site but everywhere.

Yeah she's completely off the radar, and in today's times - she's probably gonna hit one/two-hit wonder status.
But in all fairness to her - Lady GaGa, who got friggin' massive and stole tons of her thunder - even her big follow-up was kinda underwhelming to audiences. Only now has Edge of Glory started to catch some fire, and she's been having to shove it down people throats over and over and over to get it to happen.
That alone shows that deep DEEP change taking place in the music industry right now.
