used to love this show as a kid...now my kids are into it with all the the shows on teletoon and the older ones on teletoon retro

anyway i just picked them up a toy for their upcoming birthdays

how cool is that? there was never any scooby doo toys when i was a kid

A friend of mine used to absolutely hate Scrappy Doo, thought he killed the show. I always thought that was a funny thing to be upset about.

I hated that mofo Scrappy Doo as well, so did all my friends!

Loved Scooby Doo as a kid. They did have some toys when I was a kid, but they were primarily related to just the Mystery Machine.

Just loved the older show, and it never dawned on me how much crappier it got with Scrappy Doo later on.

Does anybody remember that AWFUL Scooby Doo and the 13 Ghosts spinoff with Vincent Price? I remember USA network showing re-runs of that in the early 90's and thinking it was the pits.

The new era Scooby Doo's are pretty awful too.

For whatever reason, as a kid, my favorite Scooby Doo was "Scooby Doo Meets Batman & Robin". Had the Joker & Penguin and some stuterring scientist. Never made any sense, but I dug it as a kid.

And I also want to say, there's nothing cuter than watching a 3-year old sing along to the "Scooby Dooby Doo, Where Are You" theme song for the first time.
