Re: slash Stoke for a live DVD
Awesome!!!!
Some of the proshot boots from last year were awesome...a full DVD of the longer set would kick ass!

Re: slash Stoke for a live DVD
Fuck yeah, about time Slash brought out an official live DVD of his own.
With how great he's playing, how great his band sounds, and how great the set lists have been, this is definitely a must buy for me!

Re: slash Stoke for a live DVD
Amazing setlist, I'll buy it for sure!
But..I've never understood his love for Mean Bone, Speed Parade and Been There Lately. Especially the first two are among his worst works. Shine, Serial Killer, Ain't Life Grand... these are the gems (what gems, the Koh-I-Noors!) of that album. I prefer Snakepit I though... Neither Can I, Beggars, Good To Be Alive, Be The Ball, Back and Forth... well, some of my all time favourite songs, yet he barely plays them.

Re: slash Stoke for a live DVD
Yeah the lack of love for Snakepit 1 is nearly criminal.
Can't remember the last time we got anything other than Beggars....but to me something like Soma City Ward or Dime Store Rock would kick an insane amout of ass. It's one of the most underrated albums ever I think!
I've recently got more into Snakepit 2. First time around really only liked Mean Bone, Speed Parade, Aint life Grand and Serial Killer. But these days I'm more into stuff like Just like Anything and The Truth. But I know what you mean - seems Slash often has a favourite from his albums...
Still I can't really complain about a setlist like that. If i could drop anything I'd probably alter Promice...as I'm not yet into that one...and maybe add back in Sucker Train Blues.
