What the fuck as Timberlake done in like 8 years?
Well 6 years ago he released his 2nd album...it sold 10 million copies, 4 million in the usa and was nominated for 4 Grammy Awards. Not bad considering it was a sophmore album for his original release that also sold 10 million records and won him 2 grammys.
2 Years ago he was named "Most Stylish Man in America" by GQ Fashion Magazine,
Last year he had a major role in "The Social Network" - a film that was nominated for 8 Acadamy awards.
I'm not really a fan of most pop stuff but credit where it's due the guy is a major celebrity in his own right. If he's hitting famous girls it's because they're hot and he can - not to further his own publicity I don't think.

You don't even have to follow it to know what's going on. It's unavoidable in today's society because every where you fucking turn this is the crap that gets plasterd all over the media. Anyone who claims to not know anything about this stuff is either lieing or in denial.
guess i'm in denial then cuz most of this shit i learn about this sorta thing i read on this forum....last i knew of mcCauley Culkin was that he was in the MJ Video for black and white
I never watched a single episode of Jersey Shore but I can tell ya who all the douchebags in that show are......
all i know of that show is that greasy pig snookie...and the look of her hardly gives me the desire to watch it

Biel, Diaz, and Kunis, even right now as this very moment are bigger stars than him.
I GUARANTEE you the average person has much more knowldge as who Justin Timberlake is compared to Jessica Biel and Mila Kunis who for the most part would get a "huh" reaction. Sure everyone knows Cameron Diaz but she's not on the same level as Justin Timberlake when it comes to fame. Not in my opinion anyways. All JT needs to do is release a new album and BOOM he's one of the biggest stars in the world all over again.

Only thing post-NSYNC I could name is Sexy Back & Rock Your Body.
And I guarantee you Biel, Diaz & Kunis have been in far more high-profile films/TV projects than Timberlake's like one known role and that was Social Net.

Well, Timberlake is fairly new to the acting world. Have Biel, Diaz, or Kunis sold millions of records and had #1 hits? He is every bit the star that those 3 are IMO.
And Russ is right about his work on SNL. The digital shorts and songs he did with Andy Samberg were huge, and I've always loved "The Barry Gibb Talk Show" with him and Jimmy Fallon.

What has Beil ever been in that comes close to the high profileness of The Social Network? Kunis was in Black Swan and that's it in terms of her movies being "high profile" and even still the average person wouldn't know who Mila Kunis is if you asked. Nobody knwos the chick in Book of Elie is Mila Kunis because nobody knows who Mila Kunis is just yet. You'd have to explain who she is to most people. Cameron Diaz is the only one that even comes close and to be honest Justin Timberlake seems to be a much better actor than she is so if he sticks with acting it's only a matter of time before he explodes on that scene. Plus as a guy who used to dj all the time in clubs and bars TRUST me Justin Timberlake had a ton of hits and between 2003-2007 was probably in the top five requested artists that I got. He simply hasn't put out an album in 6 years. And as others have said he's far and away one of the best current day hosts on SNL so.... I honestly think you're underrating his star power big time while grossly overestimating the other three you've mentioned. Especially Beil and Kunis(Kunis is a rising start however I wn't argue that). Cameron Diaz is past it as well so.....

Look at it this way. Imagine the Grammy's or Oscars were being hosted by Justin Timberlake, Mila Kunis, Jessica Beil or Cameron Diaz
whos' the most high profile star on that list? Justin Timberlake. You could argue Cameron Diaz but she's not hosting the Grammy's over Timberlake but it is plausable to see Timberlake host the Oscars before Diaz. No way in hell can you argue the other two are bigger household names, or even household names period than Justin Timberlake.

Biel hasn't ever been in any critically revered movies, other than maybe Rules of Attraction. But she's been in several high profile hits, Chainsaw 2003, Blade III, Stealth, Chuck & Larry, Valentine's Day, A-Team 2010. Kunis is kind of just starting out like Timberlake, who's only really known for her role on That 70's Show, and just now Black Swan. Diaz of course has been a superstar for awhile, but like Timberlake is kind of yesterday's news. Both are very early-2000's.
Anyways, Timberlake I heard accepted that female Marine's invitation to the Corps Ball. So he's going.

Timberlake is in his late 20's and is male. He's far from yesterdays news. Like I said earlier if he keeps with the acting it's only a matter of time before he blows up. And he will after this new movie. Pus one new album and he's a massive star once again.
I'm starting to think this whole Marine corps invite thing was a set up from the begining. A new age promotion. It seems genuine, seems cool, shines a great light on the stars of Friends with benefits so.... I think it's a publicity stunt right from the get go.
