I think he's touring ballparks.
I thought you were from Chicago... I just figured it made more sense to see him at Wrigley. He's playing two shows in Chicago, both at Wrigley Jul. 31st and Aug. 1st.
But I can totally understand wanting to see him legendarily in New York City, Yankee Stadium.

I am from Chicago, but I don't live in Chicago anymore. My wife and I love visiting NYC and this is the perfect excuse for us...well, me at least. She would go to NYC and skip the concert, but this is a chance to see a living music legend. As much as people love Axl (and I get that), to me, Paul McCartney is the only singer I would fly to NYC to see. Nobody alive influenced popular music as much as he did.

Agreed. Aretha Franklin is probably the only other major influential singer on popular music alive. But then again I didn't listen to alot of R&B.
So for rock... McCartney is it. Plant & Daltrey didn't really have that caliber of influence that Lennon/McCartney did.
