Encore: Face Pollution, Like Suicide, Slaves and Bulldozers

Can't say the set list impresses me.  Apparently there is a slim to none chance that we will hear new music this summer, which is very odd.

I also hope they follow Pearl Jam and change up the set list every night and pull out a lot of old songs and songs they hardly ever play.

Apparently Cornell sounds better than he did last year.

Yeah it definitely has room for improvement. Deep old cuts like Gun and Ugly Truth just aren't needed. Save that shit for a Seattle club date. Beyond the Wheel and/or Nothing to Say are good enough representation of the early era. Rotate those with Hands All Over or Big Dumb Sex.

We'll have to see how this develops as the tour progresses.

I think Gun and Hands All Over should be rotated with each other.  Ugly Truth just isn't really needed.

Last night they played Loud Love though, not a bad choice.  I was hoping for a more diverse set list from night to night.  So far it hasn't been.

looks to be almost the same setlist every night. Hell, at least Axl pulled out 3-4 new ones a show in 2001.....of course, still doing the same thing almost 10 years later! 14

Pretty badass stage set up and they look physically great....no braids, buckets, goth, or plaid suits in the mix!

I've been advised by my doctor not to attend this show or any show until we know the full extent of my hearing loss. Its my fault for not going to the doctor back in 2006 when I got tinnitus in my left ear. I just let it go and kept on business as usual but now my right ear is fucked up as well. While I love Soundgarden and many other artists/bands, they're not worth going deaf over.

I'm depressed over this as seeing them live is on my bucket list, but its gonna have to wait.

I've also been advised to stop listening to loud music at home and in my car which is something I do just about every day.

Sucks getting old kids. My hearing loss is likely caused by a combination of the pain pills and listening to blaring music so much in my teens.

that sucks james sad

yeah both my ears ring something fierce after i go to a concert

after VR in 04 or 05 it lasted for like 6 or 7 days before going away the next concert i went to i tried wearing ear plugs....but it was too pansy so i took them out...i just coundt hear the music properly with them in

i think it started when i went to a concert in my 20s by a band called Moist (Bono here on the boards raves about the singer from time to time) anyway i was right next to the PA and as they went into one song the level of the volume literally knocked me on my ass...like the sound in my inner ear made me fall over...

The latter is FAR more likely. I've known tons of former roadies that lost half if not more of their hearing and they hadn't even hit their 40's. Why? Fuckin' Amps for years man.

There was a singer or a guitarist in a real famous rock band awhile back, can't remember for the life of me who it was, but they had shit loads of hearing loss from listening to music too loud and amps over the years.

Anyways, sucks dude - try to get better.
