He's got enough rasp to "Axl it up", yet he's his own thing enough to make new songs unique.
And if I remember correctly, years ago Chester was one of the few guys that said that he became what he became because of guys like Axl Rose. Axl was supposed to be a huge influence.
And btw, Slash's guitar is ON FIRE in that vid!
