I've said it for years and so have a few others....it's NIN. Doesn't matter whether he uses "I" or "We". Trent does it as well. NIN fans don't complain about it because they accepted it years ago. I know its not a truly fair comparison as NIN was basically always Reznor, but I think hardcore GNR fans should be able to accept it by now.

Are "Accept It" and "Like It" different things.
I accept it, but I don't like it.

I would accept it if Axl pumped out albums like Trent.
But he doesn't have the balls
