Doesn't matter what the others want, it's Axl's band. He decides. But I cannot understand how an artist can be so disfunctional with his own art.

It's his art, that's the bottom line.  You can disagree with it all you want, but that don't mean a thing.  It's his vision that matters.  Sorry, but your opinion, mine, Kurt Loder's doesn't really carry much weight.  Art is completely subjective.

Has everything gone to plan in Axl's career?  I think it's safe to say, NO.  But that doesn't mean he's dysfunctional.  That seems a bit harsh.

Hey all - need a hi-res pic of two gals facing each other, crouched with arms out like they're about to square off in a wrestling match. (Will have a vintage movie poster look to it when it's finished...) Any of ya's interested? If soooo, please send photos to info@bumblefoot.com in the next 24 hours and I'll pick one to be in the art for the next single being released [hopefully] next week. Any outfits & body types are OK but PLEASE: only consenting adults, only with permission, no full nudity, no actual violence - thanks...!

Duff McKagen, Izzy Stradlin, Paul Tobias, Gilby Clarke, Ron Thal (with Bucket back in his old job).... are all viable options for replacing Richard on rhythm.

A tour can move on with or without him.

That is how GN'R works folks.

No doubt, Richard obviously doesn't make or break GNR's future plans.  But I would think if the thought there was a chance that GNR would be out touring he wouldn't commit to a tour with Thin Lizzy.  That's all.  Of course, I guess it's completely possible that he has an agreement with Lizzy that IF GNR comes calling, they need to find someone to replace him.  Maybe Vivian Campbell will be through touring with Def Leppard by that point and he could take over.  Anything is possible.  I just don't take Richard's comments as "positive" towards GNR's near future.

Wow, faldor kind of sort've agreed with me. Someone is breaking 150.

And personally, not to get all geek fanboy, but with all of the members saying nothing is happening and making different plans and Axl settling accounts with Azoff... it'd be funny if they popped up at Rio with the AFD band with DJ, Dizzy & Chris.

they are totally being inducted into the rock n roll HOF next year -- I was there on Sunday (Cleveland) and this is the only GN'R prediction (post-2005) that I am certain of.
