Re: GUNS N' ROSES To Play Peru In October
According to LivingInPeru.com, GUNS N' ROSES will perform in Peru in October but has yet to set a date for the concert.
The band's South American tour will include stops at the Rock In Rio festival in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil on October 2, at Movistar Arena in Santiago, Chile on October 5 and at Estadio Único de La Plata in La Plata, Argentina on October 8. "They will confirm their Peru date shorty," the Paraguayan media reported.
In addition to sole original member Axl Rose (vocals), the current lineup of GUNS N' ROSES includes guitarists Ron Thal, Richard Fortus and DJ Ashba, bassist Tommy Stinson, keyboardists Dizzy Reed and Chris Pitman and drummer Frank Ferrer.
As previously reported, "Chinese Democracy", the 2008 album released by the current edition of GUNS N' ROSES after a 15-year wait, can now be purchased at BestBuy.com for $1.99.
Best Buy was the exclusive U.S. retailer for "Chinese Democracy", reportedly paying $14 million for 1.6 million copies. But the album was a major sales disappointment, moving less than 630,000 copies despite the curiosity and hype surrounding its release.

Ugh, I always hated it.
Me too. Its incredibly amateurish and the couple designers on this site(elmir and dreamline) could have created something a million times better. The GNR Evo logo(without GNRevo stamped on it) shits all over the official one.

The same dude who posts things like "Rumor has it, Guns N' Roses is playing 'such and such' a date" on his twitter.
Well, he never said those dates were false. This one he came out right away and said it wasn't happening. So, it's a little different.

Amen. I always felt that way too. It came across to me like something Fernando's buddy whipped up. I hate to call out Fernando (no I don't) but it seemed like a friend of a friend getting work - logo.
It's easily THE WORST one GN'R has ever had. I always thought the 2006 logo was the best of the new era. It's fresh, looks professional, yet incorporates the old imaging.
And as for Evo - absolutely. Big tip of the hat to elmir & dreamline.
I always thought the GN'R US Marshal badge was bad fucking ass. It'd be even cooler if it was rusted up, dusted, beat up, golden-ized like the old west, and had "Guns N' Roses" around it, like the old bullet logo.
The Evo logo actually might be my favorite logo ever with GN'R on it.

Guns N Roses by their very name should have nothing to do with oriental stylings!!
Metallica have changed over the years but they kept the stylings of their merc the same. Axl doesn't see to 'get' merchandising or brand identity at all.
He just keeps serving fizzy plonk while calling it champagne.
