Maybe Dick made a decision that the money wasn't worth selling out for anymore...not likely, but you never know.

who gives a fuck?....give me a Chinese Boxset for xmas and they can all buzz off (of course, that won't happen either).... I got Tommy's album in August so I will be semi content for awhile. The new Gnr thing is done with me. I place Rio 50-50 odds at best...

Well there goes any optimism that might have been building up, as far as band activity goes.

UNLESS, there are plans afoot to reunite in preparation for the Rock N Roll HOF, 25th anniversary, etc.

Give me SOMETHING!  Anything!

Another faint glimmer of optimism.  Maybe they play those 3 shows in South America and then Axl and whoever else is needed head into the studio to wrap up the next CD.

Or, maybe nothing happens.  We get more silence until they get booked for another large festival overseas where they'll play the same setlist. neutral

Duff already said that he and Izzy are going to be in South America at the end of the year.

So, they play with GN'R at Rock in Rio, and then they show up again for the final GN'R show in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

@gunsnroses Good day! One question, Are you planning to go to Russia this or next year? Thanks for attention! We Love you guns'n'roses!

gunsnroses Guns N' Roses
@r_troy no plans outside of this fall in Rio

Re: Russ - i got that impression after the last few dates of last yr, when that final leg of the 'world' tour wound up.
but i think things will probably forever tick over @ axl's pace
i'd be pleasantly surprised if anything materialised on the GnR front in 2012 either tbpfh

they do still have material that could eventually be released & opportunities to tour & those chances will prob never vanish as long as axl is still breathing - e.g. they could re-release CD w/the proper artwork n bonus tracks/remix album in the run-up to releasing the next album & then tour it.. but until axl kicks the proverbial bucket (again) there is a light that will never go out!!

I think the band wants to write a new album while Ax will probably want to release the next batch of ten year old finished products he's been guarding in his cave like Gollum.
