Re: Title of new James Bond film revealed
I'm currently at Pinewood Studios on the set of the new Bond film, which until now has had a working title of Bond 22. I'll post more about my experiences behind the scenes on Bond tomorrow, but first I wanted to reveal that the official title of the new movie is Quantum Of Solace.
Due for release in November, the follow-up to Casino Royale stars Daniel Craig as James Bond and Dame Judi Dench as M, with newcomer Olga Kurylenko as Bond girl Camille.
I don't really like the title, as I read someone say, it sounds more like a Harry Potter title but perhaps it'll grow on me. Hopefully the film will carry on where Casino Royale left off both in terms of plot and quality.

Every Bond movie post-Goldeneye has been crap imo. I wish they would call it a day already and stop milking this cow.

Casino Royale included???
To be fair, Casino Royale was the better of-recent Bond movies but I can't see me watching it again, unless I catch it on TV one night and there's nothing else on. Brosnan had a great start as Bond too but after the first film it quickly went downhill

I agree about Brosnan, Goldeneye was great but all the other films were pretty poor. I loved Casino Royale though, thought it was a great film, really back to what Bond should be all about imo, I've watched it countless times.

Look forward to it, liked every film in the series, "Casino Royale" was overated though, normally by people who haven't seen any of the others.
I thought Goldeneye was a step down from, "A View To A Kill"....

Quantum of Solace has been a rumored title for it seems almost every Bond flick since GoldenEye. I call bullshit. Hard bullshit. Anyway, I'm a die hard Bond fan, always have been. That said, I did not care for Brosnan in the role, which is saying something because I've always liked Brosnan as an actor, apparently just not as Bond. Casino Royale reinvigorated the slagging franchise. Die Another Day was the worst entry to date, and Daniel Craig is in my top three Bonds already with one film under his belt. When I was really little, I had all the Fleming paperbacks and read a lot of them before seeing the movies, so the interpretation of the character has always been very important to me. For the record, my favorite Bond is Dalton. Yeah, that's right, I said it. My favorite Bond flick is Live and Let Die.
