Flea Announces Red Hot Chili Peppers Title And Release Date

An excited Flea announces the title and release date for new Red Hot Chili Peppers album.
Bassist Flea has posted on his twitter that the tenth Red Hot Chili Peppers album, and the first one in five years, will be released on August 30 and will be called I’m With You.
He first tweeted: “it gives me profound pleasure deep in the fiber of my being to announce the august 30 release date of the new red hot chili peppers's record”.
Then: “the new red hot chili peppers record is called........... I'm With You”.
Then followed it with another few tweets, repeating the title and release date frantically every couple of minutes.
The best one? “I'm With You August 30th!!! whahoooooo!!! yip! yippeeee!!!! whaaaaaaa!!!!!!! yes y3es ys ye s yes yes yeyeyeye yes yes yeslovelovelove”
He’s pumped.

Yesterday, Red Hot Hot Peppers bass player Flea announced the title of the next album for the band would be called 'I'm With You'. Today, the band's publicist has released the first official press release about the record.
Instead of dissecting the announce, Undercover would rather break the rules and give you all the news.
So here it is, the first official presser for the Red Hot Chili Peppers 'I'm With You' album:
June 6, 2011 - Los Angeles - Multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers will release their upcoming tenth studio album, I'm With You, on Warner Bros. Records on August 30th, 2011. Recorded at East West In Los Angeles and Shangri-la in Malibu, CA, I'm With You was produced by Rick Rubin, who has produced the band's previous five albums, 2006'sStadium Arcadium, 2002's By The Way, 1999's Californication, 1995's One Hot Minute, and 1991'sBlood Sugar Sex Magik. The album was mixed by Andrew Scheps and Greg Fidelman.
I'm With You is the band's first new album since the two-set Stadium Arcadium, which debuted at Number One in 28 countries around the world, including the U.S.- their first Number One album on the Los Angeles quartet's home turf. The album spawned three Number One Modern Rock hits: "Dani California" (which spent 14 weeks at No. 1 and is one of three songs in the history of Billboard's Alternative Chart to debut at No. 1), "Tell Me Baby," and "Snow (Hey Oh)." To support Stadium Arcadium, the Chili Peppers played to millions of fans around the world throughout 2007, including sold-out arena tours of Europe and North America, appearances at the Fuji Festival in Japan and Live Earth in London, and headlining slots at Lollapalooza in Chicago, and the Leeds and Reading Festivals in the U.K.
One of the most successful acts in rock history, Red Hot Chili Peppers have sold more than 60 million albums, including five multi-platinum LPs, and won six Grammy Awards, including "Best Rock Album" for Stadium Arcadium, "Best Rock Performance By a Duo or Group" for "Dani California, "Best Rock Song" for "Scar Tissue," and "Best Hard Rock Performance With Vocal" for "Give It Away." The band holds the record for the most No. 1 singles of all time at Alternative radio, a total of 11, and a combined 81 weeks at No. 1.
Red Hot Chili Peppers, which is singer Anthony Kiedis, bassist Flea, drummer Chad Smith, and guitarist Josh Klinghoffer, will headline at Japan's Summer Sonic Festival in Osaka on August 13thand in Tokyo on August 14th. They will also headline at the Rock in Rio Festival in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on September 24th.

RED HOT CHILLI PEPPERS ANNOUNCE DATES FOR U.S TOUR

Multi-platinum rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers will launch the North American leg of their I'm With You World Tour in January. Tickets for six shows go on sale on December 3rd with more shows and ticket on-sale dates to be announced in the coming weeks. The 2012 arena tour will be the band's first full-scale tour of the U.S. since 2007 when they hit the road in support of 2006's Stadium Arcadium.
Red Hot Chili Peppers are currently touring Europe through mid-December in support of I'm With You, which debuted at No. 2 on Billboard's Top 200 Albums chart and No. 1 on Billboard's Rock and Alternative album charts, as well as on the Top Internet Albums and iTunes Top Alternative Albums chart. The first single "The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie," hit the top spot at Modern Rock radio, giving the band its 12th No. 1 at the format. A second single, "Monarchy of the Roses" is currently the No. 2 greatest gainer on Mediabase's Alternative chart.
