Re: The chances of them playing unreleased songs @ RiR
If things were rolling in GNR land and there was a new album in the works, I'd say yes. But since we know that's not happening, NFW they'll play anything new. I'd even love to hear Axl take pride in his baby and play Chinese Democracy from beginning to end, but we know we're going to get AFD and a few tracks from UYI and CD again.

Re: The chances of them playing unreleased songs @ RiR
I've voted for "yes one new song" - as I feel asking for a few new songs is stretching my luck hahahahah.
I can't go as far as jack and say i'm sure, as GNR is so random i'm never even sure a gig will happen - even when at the gig!
But that said, it just feels like the sort of time the band could play a new song...although I hear what John said about sturgis too.
In a way I feel like it's a litmus test of how things are going to develop. I think the new material in RIR3 was a concious effort to introduce the new era to the world, it came with explinations about the death of the old band and so on.
This new new version of GNR is much more rock oriented than the 2001 band I think...so it may be that they'll just do a classic hits set, but then again, maybe it wil be a way to really push things forward and start a new era all over again of the post-chinese democracy.
It's also possible that Axl will hold off on new material to avoid building pressure. Lets face it - if he plays a new song and we like it - you can start the anticipation train rolling for a CD2 - and if business problems mean that isnt going to happen then maybe he won't want to go there. Then again...maybe it's just the moment to show us what else he's been tinkering on in the background....

Nothing to indicate?
They unvealed new songs every other time they played Rio (in Rio of course).
And before you say "yeah but they had albums coming out"... UYI still was still 8 months away, and CD was still at least a year away (from original intention), and ultimately 7-1/2 years.
