Hitchcock, my absolute favorite episode was an episode called "Lamb To The Slaughter" where the wife of the police chief, murders him with a frozen leg of lamb, then when the cops come to investigate, trying to find the murder weapon, the wife happily cooks them a delicious leg of lamb.

As a kid I got a total kick out of that.

Tales From The Darkside movies were good, but the TV shows were AWFUL.

Overall the series wasn't impressive but there is some wheat buried among the chaff. I think the best episodes were in the first season.

Ray Bradbury Theater, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, The Hitchhiker (HBO) and Tales From the Crypt.

All of those were good. Hitchhiker was on HBO late night and I used to stay up for it. Good times.

Ray Bradbury was really underrated. Came on at an odd hour and never got a big audience.

I will not be wasting time with the motion picture.

Watch this. It's the opening sequence. Best thing about the film and only lasts a few minutes.

Should I look into Night Gallery at all?

Watch the movie. Not really a movie but the first three episodes. Some of them are good. If you like that, dive into the series.

That's a trippy episode. It has a calm, soothing vibe to it until that end hits you over the head with a sledgehammer.

The ending, just made my heart drop when I realized what happened. I have other episodes I like but their all the old episodes. Need to look them up and post the rest tongue

Spoiler alert, if you've never seen this episode, watching these clips might ruin the story for you, if it interests you at all.  If so, you should start with Part 1.

There was a Twilight Zone Marathon on SyFy over the July 4th weekend and my DVR was quite busy.  I've been watching countless episodes since and just finished, "Will The Real Martian Please Stand Up".  I had forgotten that there are a few links to the GNR song "Breakdown" in the episode.  Now it's probably completely coincidental, but here's a few examples.

At the 8:14 mark the police officer comments, "We're all kids in a closet here, no one understands what's going on."

At the 4:52 mark the "Martian" performs a "parlor trick", and around the 5 minute mark he pulls out "hidden hands up his sleeves".  Then at the 5:49 mark he explains how Earth is "off the beaten track".

Again, probably just sheer coincidences, but I took notice.
