Re: Favorite Twilight Zone episodes
The movie sucks. The intro, although short, is creepy and the highlight of the film. The first installment of the film(forgot the title) is decent but had way more potential. Blew my mind as a kid that Vic Morrow was decapitated during the filming of this episode.
I would figure out a way to blow up the universe if forced to watch Spielberg's remake of 'Kick the Can' again.
Re: Favorite Twilight Zone episodes
The biggest thing I remembered about the movie is the tragic stuff involved in the making John Landis segment.
He lost shitloads of credibility after that, and was shown to be pretty ruthless and reckless to get that segment made, which kind of soured his taste in Hollywood. It got dragged into court for years, not just the tragic mistakes in the death of Morrow and the two kids, but the two kids were being paid under the table, and Landis was breaking all kinds of child labor laws and hiding them from child labor people and fire safety people.
I kind of think that whole thing soured the spirit of the entire film. Something was off everywhere, and the Landis segment was really the only original one. The rest were just remakes of classic Twilight Zone episodes. I personally just feel you check out those episodes and avoid the movie.

I like the movie. I thought Terror At 20,000 feet was way better than the original and I really like the take on the evil little boy with the powers. Imagine what happens when he hits puberty and the stuff that piece of ass teacher will have to do to keep him happy
Tales From The Darkside movies were good, but the TV shows were AWFUL.
I also loved Amazing Stories.
