Re: Favorite Twilight Zone episodes
The Monsters Are Due On Maple St. - On a peaceful suburban street, strange occurrences and mysterious people stoke the residents' paranoia to a disastrous intensity.
GREAT example of his battle with censors. While the town people accuse one another of being aliens(and of course the twist IS aliens), it was actually meant to be about Serling's take on anti communist hysteria of the 50s. Great episode though.
The Fugitive - Little Jenny wears a brace on her leg. Her best friend, an old man named Old Ben, brightens her life by performing magic -- he can turn into anything he wants. One day, two men show up looking for Old Ben and Jenny asks if they are policemen. Not exactly. Old Ben evades them and confesses to Jenny that he's from another planet. Old Ben is a fugitive, but he is not a criminal.
I don't remember this one for some reason. Gonna have to download it.
A Stop At Willoughby - Tired of his miserable job and wife, a businessman starts dreaming on the train each night, about an old, idyllic town called Willoughby. Soon he has to know whether the town is real and fancies the thought of seeking refuge there.
I don't remember how that one ends. Gonna watch the ending on youtube.
The After Hours - A woman is treated badly by some odd salespeople on an otherwise empty department store floor.
One of the most popular episodes with a great twist. Definitely watch this one Russ.
Eye of the Beholder - A young woman lying in a hospital bed, her head wrapped in bandages, awaits the outcome of a surgical procedure performed by the State in a last-ditch attempt to make her look "normal".
See above.
The Invaders - When a woman investigates a clamor on the roof of her rural house, she discovers a small UFO and little aliens emerging from it. Or so it seems.
Another popular episode but never really liked this one. Pretty sure this was another anti communist one with the alien layer over the real message.
Will The Real Martian Please Stand Up - Following a frantic phone call about a crashed spaceship, two policeman try and determine who among the passengers of a bus at a snowed-in roadside diner is from another world.
Same as above but I liked this episode. Almost added it to my list.
Nothing In The Dark - An old woman has fought with death a thousand times and has always won. But now she finds herself afraid to let a wounded policeman in her door for fear he is Mr. Death. Is he?
I think this is the most overrated episode of the series. Any Robert Redford nutswingers here should check this one out.
A Kind of Stopwatch - A man is given a stopwatch that halts time.
LOVE it. Its 80s remake was even better.
A Most Unusual Camera - When three dum-dum crooks get ahold of a camera that takes pictures of the future, they set out to make a quick fortune with their new toy.
Brilliant. This one almost made my top 10 list as well.
Little Girl Lost - Awoken in the middle of the night by the cries of his daughter, a father enters the girl's room to find that she has vanished - even though he can still her crying out for help.
Decent episode but the storyline had more potential.
Another great episode is Odyssey of Flight 33 where that jet goes through a wormhole or something and goes back to the dinosaur era and then goes into the future but not from the year they were from. Great ending too as they leave it open.
Re: Favorite Twilight Zone episodes
I totally forgot about A Kind of Stopwatch. One of my absolute favorites, because i've ALWAYS loved that concept.
Like James said, they did it again on the 80's series I believe, and there was also a very good episode of Friday The 13th: The TV Series that used the concept in an episode called "13 O'Clock", where the cursed antique was a pocket watch that could stop time for one hour at 1am. A rich bitch wife used it to kill her husband, and also multiple homicides. Good episode.
A Kind of Stopwatch is a classic and carried on through multiple other shows.

Re: Favorite Twilight Zone episodes
The episode where the guy takes his new bride back to his childhood home where his mother's ghost tries to kill her. And it ends up, the husband is keeping his mother's spirit in the house because he wants to be a little boy again.
There are so many, I can't name them all. I usually watch it whenever it's on SyFy.
On another note, Leonardo Dicaprio is a huge fan of the Twilight Zone and is making another film based on the series.
