Agreed on the blog. I have always HATED iTunes with a passion for their sale techniques, plus the limited AAC format.
I'd rather boot the single illegally, wait for the official release, buy MP3's from somewhere else, and just play them on an MP3 player.
Apple & iTunes ain't nothing but marketing and brainwashing. Get everyone to buy iPod's, then they'll eventually jack it to $1.99 a song, becauase it's an 'iTunes exclusive'. No doubt.
