There you have it right there, Slash doesn't want Corey in the band.

Yep. I really hope Duff does something with Corey. Maybe get Steve Jones or John 5, get some kick ass guitarist, and put an album together.

I'm officially done with Slash.

Slash is probably about as upset as Axl would be if I made the same statement about him.

I feel about the same about Slash performing with the Black Eyed Peas, the same butt hurt I felt when Axl said he was a BIG fan of Limp Bizkit in '99.

The Black Eyed Peas are The Rolling fucking Stones compared to Limp Bizkit.

I personally think Slash is doing his best work since GNR these days...he was under utalised in VR, so I can see why if he's sucessful on his own as he currently is - there's no pressing rush to go back to VR - where he'd have to split artistic control, profits, and where there's a massive gamble - they need to find a singer that's not seen as a clone of scott. So like they need someone that can cover his style 100% for back cataloge but also has chops of their own.

It's strange slash didn't like corey - but it's not the first singer he's found 2 dimensional - he also didn't like Josh Todd from buckcherry - i think slash is looking for someone more 'musical' like scott/myles.

The other thing is, although most of us wouldn't expect a GNR reunion anyway, the existance of VR makes it less likely one will happen - as it creates a "band vs Axl" image in the media that probably alienates Axl from them further, meanwhile it partially steals the thunder of getting that much classic GNR chemestry together all the time.

So if I were slash i'd persue this solo career as far as it can go the next couple of years, then in like 2014 or 2015 when it's getting tired I'd try and patch shit up with Axl - if he told me to go fuck myself - then give scott a call - he's less likely to hold a grude given his STP reunion - retool VR and go for it again.

wrong
so wrong
break stuff & nookie alone are a thousand times better than anything BEP have done. Significant Other is alright.

Yeah, Limp Bizkit had some tolerable songs on that Significant Other album, I can't think of any songs that are tolerable by Black Eyed Peas.

Still don't get why Slash is so keen on getting up and performing with BEP all the time. They suck!

You'll have to forgive me... I fucking HATED Limp Bizkit when I was a teen.

I'd rather listen to Creed, which at the time wasn't too far removed in my eyes from the status of suck to Bizkit.

I've lightened up a bit since then tho.

It was a bad time for heavy music, a lot of dumbass fans about.
