I think this was a limited edition that came out with the first single, I remember a couple of people posting the pic around that time. Remember that competition at the time, post your air guitar video and win a few prizes, I think this was one of the prizes as well.

And yep, it does have Shacklers as a B side.

GNR was mentioned on TV on the show "Lydverket", the most popular (the only?) music-show on Norwegian TV. Yes, it was the $1,99 BestBuy deal! smile

Translation: "Guns N' Roses isn't worth more than... well, a Kvikk Lunch (one of the most popular chocolate in Norway). Because in the US, the storechain BestBuy are so eager to get rid of their overstock of the album Chinese Democracy, that they're selling for 11,- kroner"

The host of the show is not known as a huge Axl Rose supporter. Whenever he comments on Axl/GNR, it's always with a cheap dig at Axl.

Just read over on HTGTH that someone stopped into Best Buy today and saw CD on sale for $1.99.  Well, sure enough, that's the list price on their website.

I guess they want to see if they can unload them at this ridiculously low price, or if they'll just have to throw them away.

Exactly. Perception is reality and Axl will always be seen as the man who destroyed Guns N' Roses. Yet, in his eyes, he was the only one who kept it alive.

And that's the reason why I never listened to those idiots. One thing is that they might have a point within their ways of making fun of bands, the other thing is that this kind of talk just makes me not wanna listen to them because they simply annoy me when they speak like this about Axl or anyone else for that matter. It's childish and got nothing to do with appreciating music.

Agree, but then again even though the host  has got his panties in a twist over Axl, it is imo a good musicshow. I have discovered some great albums through that show over the years.

Oh yeah, they usually play some good tunes. I would listen too, if they just kept quiet between the songs.

That's why I NEVER listen to terrestrial radio anymore.  Satellite is the way to go.  The DJ's are much less annoying and have much less air time.
