Also, the "Chinese Democracy" LP tops the overall list of top sellers beating out "Abbey Road", "Dark Side of the Moon", and "Thriller". Russ has certainly done his part on that front.
I'm beginning to think that ALL of the US copies have the inner groove distortion. It's so disheartening.
I listened to one yesterday where the entire left channel on the first half of the title cut was missing. How the fuck does that happen??
The same way the artwork and liner notes was screwed up.

I said earlier my local store was out of CD.
Wen i walked in a sales guy walked up to me and asked to help i said I was here for the the GnR CD for 1.99 he says sorry we dont have it.
I left. Stoped back there today and there was 4 on the shelf marked $9.99 i took it to the same guy.
He would not ring it up for $1.99 before checking the BB website to confirm the "Sale"

CD is now up to #4 on Best Buy's site. Granted it's probably mostly due to us hardcores buying multiple copies AGAIN! And I say that because I know a lot of people have done so, me included. But also, I don't think Best Buy has made it very well known that this deal is going on. If it was advertised properly I think more casual fans would pick it up. In keeping with the "Chinese Democracy" theme though, that can't possibly happen.

I was showing my girlfriend the lyrics in the booklet of one of the new CDs I purchased. I forgot about all the typos in it as The Blues was the first one I noticed so that's always front of mind. She went through the booklet and was just astounded at all the fuck ups.
When the booklet leaked in a matter of seconds I clocked there was misprints, how noone in production noticed is baffling. IMO it was a either a quite conscientious lack of care and concern from people in production or it was done deliberately.
Its funny how this album got a rough ride even before it hit the shops, remember all the vinyl people were buying that were chipped and scratched and covered in fingerprints?!

Looks like a 7" to me, maybe chinese democracy with shackler's revenge? The blur under the Guns N Roses looks like it could say that to me - but I might have a vivid imagination!
