Re: Charlie Sheen is the fucking man!
platoon .... win .... the end
I always thought Platoon was overrated, and I certaintly don't think it guarantees a win over a film like Lost Boys. I will confess thought that Lost Boys is about the only Haim film you could put up against Platoon. I just always thought Full Metal Jacket was better than Platoon.
I didnt realize Haim was in Full Metal Jacket
anyway lost boys is a cool movie, but platoon is a masterpeice...it sets the bar for every war movie
Re: Charlie Sheen is the fucking man!
No Apocalypse Now sets the bar for every war movie. Even Charlie has said AN is better than Platoon, and I agree.
And yes D, Haim's performance in Silver Bullet was fantastic and still underrated.
A few people I respect highly bought tickets to the Detroit show. I'm re-evaluating what I think of them.
They have the Tiger Blood, you don't.
Re: Charlie Sheen is the fucking man!
The night before the Howard stern call in.
Who Piers Morgan is:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/tvan … -deal.html
Piers Morgan is to replace Larry King, the veteran US interviewer, in a £5.5 million deal with CNN.
Sheen shows respect for Morgan
It was calm mostly ....points were made ...he said he was sober but also said he had to be careful what he admitted because of lawsuits ....It is a full show.
he made alot of sense and the interviewer called him out on key areas and charlie admitted some fault ..worth the watch imo

ALICE COOPER Relates To CHARLIE SHEEN - Mar. 18, 2011
According to The Pulse Of Radio, newly inducted Rock And Roll Hall Of Famer Alice Cooper says that he understands the situation Charlie Sheen is in. Cooper, a longtime recovering alcoholic, told The Pulse Of Radio that he clearly sees similarities between himself and the troubled "Two And A Half Men" actor. "I relate to him on one level; When I was an alcoholic, I was the most functional alcoholic there was," he said. "In other words — I was drinking too much, everybody knew it, everybody saw that I was, y'know, getting sick — but, when it came to doing my job, I was dead on, when it came to doing a show. And so, I have to defend him on one level; If he's showing up to do his job on that show, and he's straight, and he knows his lines, and he's funny, and he's not a problem — I don't know how they can stop the show. He's actually fulfilling his contract."
Cooper is currently working on a sequel to his 1975 album "Welcome To My Nightmare" with producer Bob Ezrin. "Welcome 2 My Nightmare", which will feature three songs with the original ALICE COOPER band, is expected out in the fall.

Re: Charlie Sheen is the fucking man!
Coop's right.
And as for Charlie, I think he's realized that he was killing his money marketability posting every single conversation he was having on UStream. Now that he's adding dates to his North American tour after Detroit & Chicago sold out, he's probably saving all his ranting for the live shows.
