I agree, but Axl apparently doesn't. His ego won't allow him to do a club-only tour.
According to him, he claims he's willing to perform anywhere logistically for the band's schedule. And that response was directly referring to smaller venues, like theaters or clubs.
I saw the guy perform in front of 3500 people and he put on a great show. He could've just as easily went "fuck this, i'm Axl Rose" and believe it or not, there were fans all around me that we all got into a 'betting pool' over whether Axl would show up, seeing the small size of the crowd.
I double won. The bet, and a full GN'R show. Thanks Axl!

& let's be honest people & the media have ALWAYS used dodgy pics of axl/dissed his style. my only issue is the sheer volume of costume changes he takes during a gig - something i felt increased last year..

Germain Arena is literally out in the Florida Swamp. Only things out there is the Arena, Florida Gulf Coast University (a small university), and a shit load of Asphalt, Concrete, and Aggregate Plants.
Although the quality thing about it was the experience with the band was far more personal, and parking was simple as hell and they didn't charge for it.
