Yeah it is sad really, especially the drugs...
But that said it does make me laugh just because it's so far removed from normal life for me.
Like he's partying with his current girlfriend, his ex and a porn star....off on vacation together....trying making that happen!

The guy seems to be totally happy with what he's doing, which because it's not the social norm, I don't see at all why he shouldn't be allowed to do it. It's like CBS is forcing him to fall in with the status quo to protect their business investment.
If the guy wants to do drugs, and keep a stable of girls, all while continuing to be a pretty decent comedic actor and action lead - I don't see a problem with that at all.
WHO I REALLY FEEL SAD FOR... his children. He should've NEVER EVER EVER EVER had those kids if he wanted to lead that kind of life. Now his children are gonna be exposed to a really unconventional and emotionally straught up bringing because their father is batshit.
I feel for the kids, if anyone should force him to shape up - it's them.

Good point. It's not like CBS didn't know about all his drug issues when they hired him to do the show. I'd be pretty happy with getting 8 years of relatively stable production out of Sheen.
Although watching the NBC interview today, he looks like he needs help. I think his kids might be the only thing that could force him to change at this point. He ended up bashing his dad in an interview today.

I didn't recall seeing him bash his dad, I thought they were saving that for tomorrow.
I don't know if it's drugs, alcohol, hard living in general or just the downright stress of the whole thing, but Sheen has looked like SHIT since that last rehab stint (the one before most recent one). He looks worn down, and frankly sick.
As for his behavior in that interview, he doesn't seem to be high at all. He seems to be somewhat psychotic, plus pissed off. Which can be a dangerous combo. Kind of reminds me of that scene from The Two Coreys where the psychiatrist basically told Corey Haim's mother "I hope he's on drugs, because if he's not - he's crazy". He just flipped on a dime and came with all of this hatred of psychology and this 'out ta get me' attitude from out of nowhere.
That moment reminds me exactly of this Sheen thing. When your dad says you're in trouble, I believe him. So it begs the question, if Sheen isn't using again, he's gotta be fuckin' nuts because he's intense in that interview and that just isn't being pissed off. You can see it in his eyes, just like you could see it in Haim's eyes that time.
I'm kinda 50/50 on the whole thing with Charlie after that interview. I agree with his freedoms and I do think he was buffalo'ed by CBS, Warner & Chuck Lorre, BUT he seems fuckin' out of it based on that interview. He doesn't look like a man that's about to bust down doors, but a man that if you saw the head line "Charlie Sheen found dead", you wouldn't be shocked at all at this point.

He was interviewed by Piers Morgan last night. I only caught the last half hour but he Piers asked him about his father being worried about him. Charlie replied something to the effect that he loved his dad, but he could care less what he thinks about his recent issues, what he should do, and hasn't talked to him in some time.
Howard Stern was on The Daily Show last night and mentioned that they've been in contact with Sheen and that he MAY call into the show on Wednesday. THAT would be interesting.

I've heard it mentioned, and it makes sense to me based on people I've actually known, that it's quite possible that he HAS actually gone cold turkey. This could easily be some sort of breakdown triggered by quitting everything at once with no medical supervision. Doesn't mean he wasn't using a month ago or whatever, just that he's THAT messed up.
