For that kind of cash, you really aren't gonna go too wrong. How long you been playing and what are you looking for? Just a 12-string to mess around with, or are you trying to start something up? Short cash, I'd go for it- you can always upgrade later.
It's not short of cash, it's I don't play enough to justify blowing a lot of money on it. I just want something to screw around with. Right now I have two electric guitars that I spent about 4K on. Considering I play maybe once or twice a month, I can't justify a huge investment on another guitar.

thats a 6-string though 
check musicians freind...they have good reviews sometimes.. giuve you an idea of pros and cons for different guitars
