I wish I had been better set up. I asked if we could view on my laptop. Msl was worried about the docs ending up on my cache, So did not bother to even pack it. we met after the Slash/Ozzy show. It was late. The wife and i were tired and in the wrong part of town imo. I left every thing locked in my truck camera included. It was ez mode. he talked. answered questions. reviewed my list questions written on the fly. Allowed me to read more of the emails if i asked.
I would like to thank MSL for his time as it was a fun bet and the Doc's answered alot of my questions as a GnR fan. It was a bit of excitement for my birthday. Hopefully we can chat sometime soon as i have a few questions.
I made my bet! MSL took me up on it and as a fan I read over some docs and heard some of the better MP3. Its alot like the Russ remix acoustic with alt vocals ect ect. There is nothing stopping any of you from making a similar bet or even trying to be nice to MSL and ask whatever questions you may have.
My intentions was my own. I said i would comment on if i thought it was real. Well here is more.
Do I feel like it was real? YES and NO-
Im no insider. I have nothing other than what anyone could get via Google, forums, youtube, Ect, Other than what Sp1AT sent me. They were all there and then some and some updated and alt addys- Cell to email ect.. ect....
Could it be faked? YES !
Would be alot to fake and not release only to be discredited.
Could it be faked better? YES !
The low tech email accounts and security on this stuff boggles my mind.
Was it what I expected to see? NO !
Do I owe everyone here everything I made a bet and drove 1000 miles for ? NOPE!
I have sent emails to a few that emailed me and hope what I provided helps. I will try my lawyer in the am for advice on the things I feel like talking about.
As far as the email titles.
They appear to be what MSL feels like are high points, or what he feels is important. Some are As he interprets what he reads.
For example the one about Beta tricking Axl. It was more her advice on how to approach Axl regarding a specific subject from my understanding of it.
Some things that IMO MSL should release.
The tour rider. Thoes are always funny imo. No harm done, also some of the funny true titles. But not the book. I hope AX has time to finish it and put it out. I want his side of the story. Will be on my pre order list!

My wifes perception of msl
She said she smelled bullshit. But she is not a big fan and her interests were settled reading Dj's contract, and the one about dissolving GnR and Why sue DJ. After that she got me a drink and read her book.

Alot of wht is in there has been talked about by Axl or a band member
publicly- IMO most of you guys need to spend more time reading that over the speculation on forums.
REUNION- If your only purpose in life is to see a reunion of the AFD lineup let me qoute Axl "One of us will die first" And reconfirmed differently in email. Maby a different Mix of old and new. But so FAR we have the touring lineup just got off a nice tour!

Of Interest.
1.Somewhat interesting was the screen shots that listed other emails. names that were in the box to the side. like "Anal-ized" and Mr.Wintergreen"
2.There is more to every thing MSL has posted. Nothing is 100% everything from any file he choose to share.
3.Blood in the water? really? What a coincidence! (years pre Duff @ the O2)

5. Alt Bust buy idea. What if you made a bizness mistake. What if you you know you did and offered a new exclusive free to make up and keep bridges from being burnt?
6.Not all emails involved Axl and some read to be documents worked up for him. Some simple wishes ect ect...
7. Could be fake? Most sign better lease Agreements than some of the contracts ive seen on this memory card.
8. Why would someone spend time on this to have it disproven or not picked up? or released?
9. Was done in a hurry. IMHO Not a complete pull of every file.

To MSL- I hope you or someone releases it. Or someone pays you to bring it all out. even if over time.
TO GNR BAND- hang in there! last tour was awesome! Communicate with fans! Hope to see you in the US soon !
To Fernando-People in a game or on the web have no real life consequence. It does no good to impress them or go for "cool points"
To beta.- Thanx for helping Ax out the way you do. Keep up the good work and help get the music and tours to the fans! remove or delete your emails daily!
To the FANS -hang in there. Go to the shows. Buy the merch. You never know when it will be over. Most of all enjoy it.
To Axl- hope you find peace and keep on keeping on I for one have enjoyed GnR over the years.

So was there anything in the emails that you found interesting or new? You can pm me if you'd like or I'll give you my email. I have not made up my mind on this yet, but I'd like to hear some of it.
If you can say nothing else (and I'm not sure why you'd need a lawyer?) then what opinion of Axl did you walk away with?

Is there any reason stopping a third party from describing in detail what was shown? I don't think jamester is on shaky legal ground if he was shown documents for which he played no part in their leak.

No, not at all. Jamester didn't steal the documents and he is not trying to extort money out of Axl. There is no reason he can't say exactly what he saw.

I thought we were getting a summary of the stuff that wasn't potentially harmful to the band, Axl, and no leaks of any potential monetary items; leaked songs, books, ext...
I just want to know about CD II and why Robin quit. That ain't much....

I want to know about Duff and that situation. Also Axl's thoughts on Slash and what he said about the reunion. I'd also like a real explanation of the enemies list thing, because the description of what it is has changed so much. And anything else of interest that we don't already know.
