Slash could play SCOM in his sleep ....i think the issue was more in the BEP/ fergie...with electronic jackets and michael jackson like performance with bad audio mix and cordinated wear...

But I think these people protest too much.
It comes across as bitter and desperate.
Is their confidence so low that they have to take shots at one of the best guitarists of all time?
It just makes them look bad. I mean so what? They've been waiting 15 years for slash to give a shit peformance so they somehow prove he's bad?
Whatever.
I think Axl and the new GNR are a great fucking band. But guess what...sois slash. Hate each other all you want...but ANY rock fan with an objective opinion can see that both Axl and Slash are all time greats. Do they have to work together? No. But is it lame to be taking pot shots at each other? Yeah.

Didn't Nikki recently post a photo of him and slash and be grateful that he had friends or whatever.
Not being american I havn't even seen this peformance, but even if it sucked, I've seen a lot of slash playing in the last year to know that he still kicks serious ass...one bad peformance wouldn't mean shit to me.
This whole feud is getting kind of old. New GNR is a great band, I don't understand why to feel good about them people need to try and prove slash isn't kickass too.
Uh, Slash isn't the issue. Fergie was fucking terrible. A blasphemous performance of a classic vocal. Reminds me of when Robin would fuck up Slash's guitar solos, except worse because this was in front of a billion people on global television. Embarrassing.

Fergie fucking sucked and so did the entire BEP's, like we all knew they would. Slash did great, but you could barely hear him.
As for that GunsNRosesNews Twitter feed - that thing is NOT official.
It's just some dickless fuckin' punk, thinking Axl will like him while licks Axl's ass and bashes Slash for no reason.
Slash has no dignity? Axl has no dignity trying to pass off a cover band as Guns N' Roses.
And I actually like new GN'R. So that guy can fuck off with that shit. Slash co-wrote those songs, and can play them ANYWHERE he fuckin' wants.
