LITA FORD: Performance Footage From NAMM Available - Jan. 25, 2011
Bay Area Backstage has uploaded video footage of '80s hard rock queen Lita Ford performing at an after-party in Anaheim, California during the 2011 NAMM (National Association Of Music Merchants) show, a massive music-products convention that took place January 13-16. You can now watch the clip below.
Lita is currently working on a new studio album for a tentative spring release. A tour will follow later in the year.
"Wicked Wonderland", the first album in 15 years from Lita Ford, sold around 2,600 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The CD landed at position No. 31 on the Top Hard Music Albums chart.
"Wicked Wonderland" was released in Europe on October 2, 2009 via earMUSIC/Edel. The set was issued in the U.S. on October 6, 2009 through Lita's own JLRG Entertainment label as a regular CD and limited-edition vinyl with different artwork.
In an "innovative" music marketing move, Ford released a single from "Wicked Wonderland" on Stockroom.com, the world's leading fetish site. It was believed to be the first time a relatively high-profile music release was launched through a web site catering to the alternative fetish lifestyle.

MEGADETH's DAVE MUSTAINE Introduces 'G2.1DM' Guitar Effects Pedal At NAMM (Video) - Feb. 13, 2011
Video footage of MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine introducing the all-new G2.1DM Dave Mustaine signature edition guitar effects pedal at a press conference on January 15 at the Zoom booth at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California during the 2011 NAMM (National Association Of Music Merchants) show can be viewed below.
"This pedal is built for action," declared Mustaine. "With my personal sound effects and a large expression pedal modeled after the accelerator of one of my favorite sports cars onboard, the G2.1DM leaves all contenders at the starting line."
