BLACK CROWES Frontman Schedules CHRIS ROBINSON BROTHERHOOD Tour - Feb. 3, 2011
CHRIS ROBINSON BROTHERHOOD, the "psychedelic filling in a folk blues pie" new project led by THE BLACK CROWES frontman Chris Robinson, will spend the spring touring California, with several residencies throughout the state.

The trek begins in late March and wraps in late May, featuring 33 tour dates at 13 venues.

For more information, visit ChrisrRobinsonBrotherhood.com.

THE BLACK CROWES recently wrapped up their last scheduled U.S. show in San Francisco as part of a six-show sold-out run at the Fillmore December 12-19 — and will embark on their final eight shows in Europe (July 7-18), concluding their 20th anniversary tour in (appropriately) Amsterdam with a two-night engagement at the Paradiso. The band recently announced they are going on an indefinite hiatus to spend time with family and work on other projects.

Yeah, can't wait. Was only planning on going the one date, but I figured a chance like this may not come around again for a long time. Gonna try and meet them after the first show. Both nights feature both an electric and acoustic set so should get to hear a wide range of Crowe's classics. Did they play any of their solo stuff in the set by any chance Russ?

Went to both of the London shows. Fucking phenomenal. Met the entire band over the course of the two days. Got autographs from Chris and Rich, and was sitting front row for the second gig when I saw none other than Jimmy Page standing at the side of the stage. He would come on stage with the Crowes to play the old Elmore James number (Shake Your Money Maker) for the encore. I was standing a sheer 10 feet from Jimmy fucking Page. Unbelievable. A moment/experience/night I will never forget for the rest of my life.

Rich is the most nicest, modest, soft spoken guy ever. Even more so than Myles Kennedy of Alter Bridge. A real pleasure to meet.

Chris was more in a hurry but was still signed autographs and took some pictures. Came complete with the signature Chris sense of humour. I asked him; "Chris, I came from Ireland, can I get a quick photo?" To which he looked at my shirt and replied "Really? You look like you just came from Liam Gallagher's house!" 16

Thanks guys! Yeah, I've had several people already ask me who's not familar with the band why I got my photo taken with a homeless person. 16 He seemed to be in  great physical shape though. He was dancing around alot, and seemed pretty agile. His vocals were awesome too. Yeah, the guy beside me at the gig said he saw The Brotherhood, and that they were awesome too. I think they do a few Crowes covers from Before The Frost..Until The Freeze too. smile
