The announcement will be made on my youtube channel in the next few days. I have no doubt that lawyers will attempt to have the video removed.
It is my intention over the course of this year to answer many of the questions that have been burning in the hearts of Guns N' Roses fans for quite some time.
For my own safety, a few things need to be put in place before my announcement can be made.
To the Guns N' Roses fans around the world who have shown such a tremendous amount of appreciation for my previous efforts, I want you all to know how much the love and passion has meant to me during my darkest days.
I have accepted that I can't run from it. No matter what I do, in addition to being known as a musician and a wrestler, I will always be known as the Chinese Democracy guy.
And that's ok. But if that's going to be the case, I want to be known for a lot more than simply having offered some early access to the tunes. For a record shrouded in mystery for so long, for a band that has offered so little information to their devoted fans, I feel I owe it to everyone to pull back the curtain.

Josh, at this point, I can't really talk about how the cards will unfold beyond the fact that I will be getting my ducks in a row the next few days and once my safety net is in place, I will try to explain things on youtube as best as possible.
Ridz, it has something to do with everything. People are dying to hear and know a lot of things and perhaps in 2011 they finally will. This will be a work in progress I'm sure.

I see that discussion about my upcoming announcement has already been deleted from some of the major GNR boards. Interesting. I do expect the sites that are under GNR's thumb to attempt to prevent discussion of the material and information I plan to present.

Everytime gnr material gets leaked before its official release, it damages the band more then anyone here could ever know.
Well if you want to quote Axl, then you will love what I have in store.
And if you want to know his true thoughts on leaks, perhaps I will quote that too.

alexis and i did not get bukkake dinner but we did go to ale house. i did secretly pretend that all the cole slaw i ate was actually bukkake. axl rose called her phone during dinner and burped on her vmail. i'm not joking.
also, i'd like to let everyone know that the "gunsguy" guest was not actually gunsguy. gunsguy has since signed up and did not make those posts.
i will be turning off guest posting as things are about to get nutty, but, i will leave registrations open.

I've obtained day by day plans for GNR activity from February 1 through the end of May. Obviously in the GNR world the possibility remains that everything has been cancelled. On the off chance that things haven't been cancelled, I would like to see if the plan kicks into action during Feb 1-5 as outlined in the 2011 agenda.

gonna try to go to bed soon as my girl already fell asleep. it's been an interesting few days. axl called her during dinner tonight, but we didn't answer. the only thing he left on the vmail was him burping. very odd. there are hundreds and hundreds of pages i still haven't even begun to sort through. but from what i have read, i can promise that many of the questions we've all asked will be answered soon.
and it won't be speculation or rumors or second hand nonsense.
you'll get the real deal as written by axl, slash, bumble, brain, robin, tommy, dizzy, duff, etc etc etc.

Mister Saint Laurent is a singer-songwriter best known for his long running feud with Guns N' Roses lead singer Axl Rose.[1] The rivalry was chronicled in a cover story by Classic Rock Magazine.[2]
