The way I see it, is us hardcores did all we could in 2008 to make CD successful. Bought the CD single, encouraged others to do so, I called and e-mailed radio stations and persisted with requests, and others bought multiple albums, and others did other things...
We worked. Where was Axl? Where was Universal?
As far as i'm concerned, he AND the label buried it, and didn't send us fans the memo. We tried to make it go and they left us with the dinner check.
Won't happen a second time baby. Drop an album, i'll buy it. But I ain't street teaming a fucking thing for them again.

Well said, I feel the same way and did the same things you mentioned. You're spot on though. IF they put in the heart and passion, then I'd be right there with them. But if they're just going to go through the motions, why should I do any different?
