He needs to re-read that shit in 2011.
I still think, like Izzy & Duff, if someone could get Axl & Slash in the same room for 10 minutes - BY THEMSELVES - the real Guns N' Roses could get back to kicking ass again.
The real Guns N' Roses died as soon as Appetite For Destruction became a phenomenon. They were at their best when they were hungry and had nothing to lose. They'll never get that back.

In a sense you're right. Even if there was a reunion, it wouldn't be anywhere near what it once was. Of course I'd take it in a heartbeat, but it just wouldn't be the same.

Absolutely. I think there has been so much unnecessary bickering behind the scenes, that if the two of them were put in a room and forced to deal with each other, they'd sort everything out.
Either that or they'd kill each other...:haha:

I have always believed exactly what you guys say, but except I don't think we ever got the final chapter to the saga (unless you consider solo careers and CD to be it).
I think the old GN'R had ONE MORE classic GN'R album in them as a swan song to tell what it was like to go from the Strip to ruling the world, and back home as legends. That was supposed to be their finale imho.
I'd still like to hear it before I die, but like it guys say - too much time has passed. Only way it'd work is if they got together, recorded like it was 1993, and did it strictly as a niche album.
