Yeah it's more for the heads of the industy to get togehter and talk shop i thought. It's all products that will eventually be on sale to the public. I'd love to be able to go and see some of this cool stuff though!

It's essentially a dealer show. The people that work at your local Guitar Center probably could have gotten there. I know for sure a guy who worked at a local music store here went a few years ago.

Although it seems like itjust becomes music geeks walking around looking at famous musicians, not necessarily thier product.
