They all seem really happy and comfortable in the vid, also Axl seems to have slimmed down alot since earlier in the tour.
Re: GnR Band Member Interviews from 2009-10 Tour
I also got to have a beer or three with Chris Pitman...he's a little bit camera shy:
But he said I could take another pic if I sculled my beer before he did. Little did he realise I'm australian, and also my beer was already 7/8 finished
So here's my real pic with him:
He's a great guy though, and despite not being a fan of cameras was very interested to chat to fans and talk about music and really interact with people on a human level. Nice guy.
He does seem to have a Michael Jackson thing going on. Monkey was something wrong with his face? My best guess is he may have some plastic surgery planned for the off time and may not want much recent picture evidence pure speculation on my part tho.
same question to Aussie....Was somehting wrong with this guys look?
Re: GnR Band Member Interviews from 2009-10 Tour
no...it's called cool and funny. Quirky, drunk, Tool, ........he's a good guy from my perspective. And, if you are a Chinese fan, you should appreciate the fact that he is ALL over the album. If you don't dig multi-instrumentalist, cocktail swilling synthesizer sound effect keyboard kooks then maybe you don't get Mother fuckin Goose!

Re: GnR Band Member Interviews from 2009-10 Tour
^ Nothing wrong with him at all. He just seemed more into chatting than taking pics.
He reminded me a bit of Baz in that he seemed larger than life. I don't mean fat at all, I just mean big shoulders and sort of tallish. I'm sort of a short guy I guess so maybe I impress easily...but he seemed sort of on a larger scale than some of the other people in the room.
Don't wanna speak for him, but I think he said something along the lines of that he'd always been camera shy even prior to GNR and that he doesn't like photos much and joked that his hand comes off better than him in pictures.
So for my 2c I don't think there's anything wrong with his look, I think he's just one of those people that hates cameras.
Re: GnR Band Member Interviews from 2009-10 Tour
He hangs out with the Tool "family"....they are a pretty laid back, but protective bunch. I dig him and think he, Axl, guys like Bucket, Ron, and Brain, could really make some very interesting instrumental music. I'd pay good money to hear the Chinese vault without vocals.

Nahh nothing at all wrong with him or his look. He's just horsing around and I imagine isn't particularly fond of photos. He seemed like a funny cool guy, they all did.
Sadly there were no wankers or tossers amongst the ones I spoke with, no dirt, no snubbing anyone, no tantrums, everyone obliging and friendly. Very boring - just regular decent guys.
I imagine him dodging photos has probably turned into an ongoing bit of fun for him. Even Frank had someones camera at one point and was trying to get a photo of him when I saw them. Quite funny.
