Re: D.J. ASHBA: It Will Be 'A Cold Day In Hell' Before AXL And SLASH Play
On a side note, have any of you recently read some of the topics at mygnr? I have never seen a bigger group of idiots in my life...wow. They give HTGTH a serious run for their money.
Axl has personally cultivated a fanbase of morons - what do you expect when you constantly alienate your long-time supporters?

Yep. There's just nothing to say really. Plus about every 3rd post of mine gets deleted.
The last straw was a post I made, on topic, in a topic that Jarmo started about an AFD re-release that was quite lengthy that got deleted.
When I asked why the deletion, I was told I didn't need to talk about the past over and over. And I was like WHAT?? YOU started that topic!?!
That sounds like HTGTH. Dead on.

Re: D.J. ASHBA: It Will Be 'A Cold Day In Hell' Before AXL And SLASH Play
When Becko of Australia's long-running rock radio station Triple M questioned D.J. ahead of GN'R's show at the Sydney 500 V8 Supercars about the reports of Axl and Slash possibly getting back together, he shot it down.
I find it so rude when interviewers do that.
I mean if slash did come back in the band we can assume it would be in DJ's role, so what do they expect DJ to do? Gush over the hypothetical possibility of loosing his place?
It's just kind of silly. It's like saying to your friend John's girlfriend, "have you heard that John might be going to get back together with his ex?". What can she say that's positive back? Not that Axl and DJ are dating hahah...
Overall i think he brushed it off pretty well in that by calling slash legendary and amazing he was sufficently honouring the past of the band, but he also made it very clear that there's no basis to the speculation of his return, and pointed out the kickassness of the current line up. Considering it's a pretty inflamatory question I think he gave the best response possible.

Why is this guy even speaking about such things? He is a no one nobody nothing. Sure ok he is in 'Gnr' but so has everyone and their mother.

Please don't hold back. Tell us how you really feel about DJ.
I hear this all the time when people complain about Slash talking about a reunion. They answer the questions they are asked. DJ is a lot like Slash in many ways. They both love the spotlight, enjoy promoting themselves, and like to speak freely.
