No. I gave up on KOHD long ago. Don't Cry I tried above, and it still blows. I MIGHT check out the V8 performance.

I just think his voice sounds fine on DC. The new arrangement is thin and sounds like an afterthought though. Also, I'd be fine if they never played KOHD and LALD ever again. One of the many huge shames of GNR is the kickass back catalog that gets ignored.

Just got back home to melbourne after driving to this show (I'll post that story soon) but just wanted to chat about the KOHD issue.
Priot to going to this show I would have agreed, I loved the UYI arrangment they used to do back in the day, but had got a bit burnt out on the song since - as it's always featured it seems - and I never really liked the newer arrangments.
But wow was I wrong this time around. In person I loved it. Axl sounded great on it - and Richard played a whole bunch of realy beautiful and tastey guitar parts during it....it's wierd like I would have said in advance i could do without it being in the set happily - but then in person it really impressed me.

Did you see DC from the London O2 show? Pretty damn great IMHO. Sounds as good as he did in the earliest bootlegs of the song from '86.
