is that ^ meant as some sorta put down/insult? glen campbell, jimmy page, ry cooder 2 name but 3 out of thousands of top class rock n roll heroes started out as session musicians. Dj is the most entertaining touring guitarist GnR have had since Slash for the most part.
i don't particularly like him in GnR playingwise, but he has done a real good job in GnR this touring year.
& i'm sure he played his fair share of shitholes when he was in Beautiful Creatures r whatevr they were called..

ugh...really....this was on Dj's youtube. I thought hay ill share it here in a happy holidays thread. I didnt know it was dj on it till I searched for the original.

As Dj continues on his never ending path to emulate slash He decides to do a session in a studio to help add holiday cheer to peoples life. The similarity is his hero and the ONLY guitarist to ever have a name outside of a band. Slash has sat in as a studio musician for many a projects. (see slash discography)

On topic. I really enjoyed the song. I played it a few times before actually watching the video. Ive always enjoyed Sandler as an actor and love his Axl bit

We let the kids decorate the tree this year. its a mess! but they had fun. my son (hes 6) also decided our bird should spend this Christmas on the tree! He ask if we should get a bird nest from outside to put in there for him.

No, I'm saying that DJ's solo in that is really sweet, but I don't think he plays that well live. Studio musician.
